So, Tall-Shadow and I pretty much got married, like, TONIGHT. AHHHHHHHHH!!!!
I’ll write more when we get back from the honeymoon. But I wanted you to know that I love you all and, reminder: I’m not going anywhere. I’ve still got your backs and I’m going to keep on being our voice.
Much, much love, sweet girls!
xoxo Elisabeth
P.S. Please pray for us if you think of it…many, many changes and transitions up ahead for both of us and all our children. Thank you for your sweet, sweet support along our journey so far!
Congratulations Elisabeth! what an encouraging testimony you have given us! I know God will be blessing you greatly, and I pray yo will receive wisdom and support you will need each step of the way. Happy Mother’s Day also by the way! 😉
I’m happy for you both…May God be with both of you every step of the way, and keep your love in the light!
Elisabeth, 5 years ago – about this week, I went digging and looking for positive blogs to read and get counsel from. God had an article/blog on Crosswalk.com which led me to you. I have read your blog faithfully now for 5 years. I celebrate your wedding today with you — honestly, if I had the extra funds ….I seriously considering coming ….but, God did not open that door. Instead — I got to read and watch via this blog again.
You are indeed a woman of God.
You are indeed being used.
You are indeed a voice for many.
When I ‘met’ you – you were separated and debating what was next. I have comment before, even emailed you and our paths ended up different — but today — I ‘celebrate’ too. Today — I spoke ( preached ) with another at my church and was able to remind the congregation (twice- 2 services) that prayer is key as a mom…. Today, I celebrated too — a healthy and whole and restored marriage. My tall dark shadow was a prodigal son and he returned home to his King. God.
Anyway, I just wanted to say congrats and …if you ever get to Florida — I want you to consider coming for a visit. I am being prayerful and perhaps the Lord will lead you here for our next Women’s Conference. Congrats again — and I will pray right now for the future — in God’s will. Amen.
Congratulations, Beth & Buzz! May your story continue to reflect God’s goodness and redemption. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers through the next transition.
I have followed your blog for a couple of years and am constantly amazed at how closely my story has followed yours. Then I just read this blog and couldn’t believe my eyes!! We got married on the same day! God is so good. Thank you for always being open and honest about your journey. It hasn’t been easy–I know!!! But, today we are both married to wonderful Christian men who are SO KIND (such a blessing!!) I’m very happy for you and for me!
Keep up the good work!!!
Congratulations! Can’t believe you blogged today! Best wishes!!
Elisabeth,
