I’ve had a few people ask me what I put in my smoothie, so, I thought share my recipe. I have one first thing each morning (every morning for the past twelve or so years now, unless I’m out of town), and sometimes another one in the afternoon.
Toss any or all of these things in the blender, in whatever amounts you like:
Almond milk
Matcha
Spinach
Kale
Banana
Frozen berries
Frozen pineapple
And there you go. The frozen berries will make it cold and I promise will also drown out the taste of all the “healthy” stuff. You will seriously not be able to tell that you’re drinking veggies.

That sounds really good, I’ll have to try it! I’ve been trying to go easy on dairy so I’ve been making mine with coconut milk – very good!
I finally tried a few handsful of baby spinach in my frozen-fruit smoothie (I only use fruit and juice) and we were thrilled at the result. Could not taste the spinach at all, but loved the feeling afterward! Thanks for the tip.
